Langerhans Pharmacy General Terms & Conditions:

These Terms apply to your use of this website. By using this website, you warrant that You have read and reviewed this Agreement and that You agree to be bound by it. It represents our entire agreement with you and supersede all prior terms, conditions, warranties and/or representations to the extent permitted by law. Please do not use our website if you do not agree to be bound by these Terms.

Change in terms:

We may occasionally update or change the Terms of this website without giving you prior notice. Please make sure you check them regularly. Your continued use means you have accepted he terms and conditions as they are on the website. 

Applicable law:

This agreement is governed by the law of Namibia.

Use of our website:

You are welcome to browse or use our website for your own personal, non-commercial shopping and information purposes only. No other use is permitted. The unauthorised use, copying, reproduction, variation, modification, or distribution of the content of this website, the uploading of any unlawful or damaging information or viral software, or the creation of any links to our website from any other site whatsoever, is strictly prohibited.

You agree to indemnify us against any loss, damage, harm, claim or any other cost whatsoever that you may sustain as a result of your use of our website and/or its contents contrary to these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend our website or any part thereof or terminate your account at any time if we determine that you are not using the website in compliance with these Terms or if we believe the information provided by you is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete.

Online Registration

To register you will be asked to provide information like personal details and your delivery address. When registering, you will be asked to choose a user ID and a password. Please keep your password safe and make sure it is secure. Langerhans Pharmacy accepts no liability for any damages suffered or losses incurred from the use or misuse of your password. You will be required to enter your user ID and password each time you visit our online shopping site.

Accuracy:

We put in a tremendous amount of effort to ensure that the information on our website, social media channels and email marketing is accurate and up to date. We do not, however, guarantee that the content or information displayed is always accurate, complete and/or current. 

Intellectual Property:

All rights, including copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights in any logos, text, images, or other material on this website are owned by or licensed to us. Unauthorised use and reproduction are strictly prohibited and constitutes an violation of our intellectual property rights.

Use of our logos, content, and images:

Use of the content of our website is strictly prohibited. This includes our logos or other images that appear on our website. Unauthorised use and/or reproduction constitutes a violation of our or our licensors’ intellectual property rights.

Pharmacy:

All pharmacy products are dispensed according to the applicable Namibian pharmacy law. Please make sure to read the package insert to be aware of any relevant information.

Online shopping terms and conditions:

These online shopping terms and conditions apply to all purchases ordered online at Langerhans Pharmacy.

Please note that legislation requires registration and login in for purchase of certain products. Registration and/or use of our online shopping website constitute your acceptance and agreement to be bound by the Terms of our website.

Product sales and availability

All products displayed on our website are subject to availability. All prices shown on our website are quoted in Namibian Dollars.

We will inform you as soon as possible if any products ordered by you are not available.

Sale products may differ from photographs. Packaging may vary from that shown on our website. Please note that as per Namibian pharmacy law requirements, images will not be displayed of some pharmacy products.

Website content errors:

No order will be processed if we identify an error in the description of any of our goods or services or their prices on our website. 

Website pricing policy:

Prices are while stocks last. Special promotions may be subject to certain conditions, including stock availability and limited offer stipulations. Prices include Value Added Tax.

A delivery fee will be charged for each order placed by you.

Stock availability:

We cannot always guarantee availability of stock.

If we are unable to supply every item you ordered or in the quantities ordered, you nevertheless agree to accept delivery and make payment for the items that are correctly delivered. 

Store to Door deliveries: 

We offer our free Store to Door delivery service during weekdays to any orders above N$200.00. If your order is below N$200.00 an extra delivery fee of N$10.00 is be required. 

Store to Door is only available for customers who live in Windhoek. If a customer lives outside of Windhoek, any other of the courier options must be chosen upon check out. The customer is responsible for any and all courier fees which the chosen courier company will charge directly upon delivery. 

For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. Should no-one be present at the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products in their possession. The delivery service will attempt to contact you in order to arrange for an alternate delivery time. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required in the circumstances. We will not be held accountable for the late arrival of any deliveries in this case. 

Please arrange that you or your authorised representative is available to accept your purchases at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available. On delivery, we will require you or your authorised representative to sign and print your or their name on a duplicate copy of the delivery note, to confirm receipt.

Medicines which need to be kept below a certain temperature by refrigerating them must be collected in store. Controlled drugs need to be collected from store too. Some medicines may not be suitable for delivery due to the type of medicine.

Online shopping delivery personnel:

When we use your preferred courier service provider to deliver to parts of the country outside of Windhoek, we cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, its directors, employees, sub-contractors, agents, representatives and/or affiliates.

In the occurrence that an incorrect address has been provided to Langerhans Pharmacy, we reserve the right to charge for any extra carriage costs incurred.

All orders outside Windhoek are shipped with the Courier of your Choice of which the client will then be responsible for all transport/delivery costs.

Disclaimer

Langerhans Pharmacy shall NOT be responsible for ANY loss, liability, damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential), personal injury, or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered by you or any third party as a result of or which may be attributable, directly or indirectly, to:

  • Your use of or reliance on the information provided on the Website
  • Any viruses that may infect your computer during the use of this Website
  • Any failure, delay or unavailability of the products or services offered via the website for any reason whatsoever
  • The supply, or failure or delay in supplying any of the Services offered via the Website; and
  • The breach of any of these terms of use by you.

Medicines which need to be kept below a certain temperature by refrigerating them must be collected in store. Controlled drugs need to be collected from store too. Some medicines may not be suitable for letterbox delivery due to the type of medicine or the size.

In store Refund & Exchange Policy

If you are dissatisfied with a product you bought from our pharmacy you may return it for a refund, replacement or exchange provided that the conditions of our Refund & Exchange policy have been met. 

All returns & exchanges need to meet the following conditions: 

  • It’s returned within 7 days of purchase date. 
  • The original till slip is provided.
  • All refunds are processed strictly in accordance with original sales tender type. 
  • Refunds will not be given on gift vouchers. In addition, a refund on product bought on a gift voucher will be in the form of a new gift voucher. 
  • Returned products must be in the original condition and in undamaged packaging. 
  • We will only consider exchanging or refunding a faulty product if it was used for its intended purpose and in accordance with the product instructions and owner’s manual. 
  • No refunds or exchanges will be made for a product that has been misused or purposely damaged. 
  • A faulty product will, where relevant, be subject to a technical assessment by a specialist before being replaced or refunded.

We accidentally sent you faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods?

Contact us to arrange collection

Email info@langerhanspharmacy.com and ask us to collect your unsatisfactory order. – please notify us within 7 days.

  • Reference your invoice number.
  • State whether you want it replaced or refunded.

All returns & exchanges need to meet the following conditions:

  • It’s returned within 7 days of purchase date.
  • The original till slip is required.
  • Refunds will not be given on Gift Cards.
  • A refund on product bought on a gift card will be in the form of a new gift card.
  • Returned products must be in the original condition and in undamaged packaging.
  • We will only consider exchanging or refunding a faulty product if it was used for its intended purpose and in accordance with the product instructions and owner’s manual.
  • No refunds or exchanges will be made for a product that has been misused or purposely damaged.
  • A faulty product will, where relevant, be subject to a technical assessment before being replaced or refunded.

Electrical equipment will only be accepted if complete with all leads and accessories.

Medicines, perfumes and cosmetics cannot be returned, refunded or exchange.
